Meet and greet upon arrival and transfer to your hotel in San José. The rest of the day is at leisure.

DAY 02: ARENAL VOLCANO TOUR WITH ECO-THERMAL HOT SPRINGS
Breakfast at the hotel. Located in northern Costa Rica, the impressive Arenal Volcano is a natural phenomenon that attracts thousands of visitors due to its extraordinary volcanic activity, which on clear nights resembles a natural fireworks display with intermittent eruptions of ash and lava. On the way, we will stop in the famous town of Sarchí, internationally known for its skilled artisans, earning its reputation as the cradle of Costa Rican handicrafts.
Continuing the journey, you will pass through plantations, ornamental plant farms, and cattle ranches until reaching La Fortuna, where lunch will be served at a cozy restaurant facing the volcano. This privileged location allows for excellent views of the volcano throughout the day. Later, you will relax in one of the region’s finest hot springs, with the option to enjoy pre-booked spa treatments or massages.
To end the day, a delicious dinner will be served, offering the opportunity to admire the volcano under the night sky. After dinner, transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Arenal.

DAY 03: HANGING BRIDGES & LA FORTUNA WATERFALl
Breakfast at the hotel. The Hanging Bridges Forest Reserve covers 243 hectares of protected forest and is ideal for those who wish to experience the tropical rainforest. A 3.1 km loop trail crosses 15 impressive bridges, some suspended above the forest canopy and others at ground level.
These bridges vary in length and height, offering unique perspectives of the flora and fauna across different forest levels. From above, it becomes easier to spot wildlife such as monkeys (three species), birds, snakes, peccaries, frogs, and more. At the end of the walk, enjoy a refreshing tropical fruit snack with views of Arenal Volcano before continuing to La Fortuna Waterfall.
The tour begins with hotel pickup and a short drive to the private reserve. From the viewpoint, you will descend approximately 500 meters via more than 480 steps through the forest to reach the base of the impressive waterfall, which drops over 70 meters (230 feet). If you are lucky, you may spot wildlife such as coatis, butterflies, toucans, and oropendolas along the way. At the base, you can swim, take photos, or simply relax and admire the scenery.
After enjoying the waterfall, return via the same trail to the viewpoint, where a fresh fruit snack will be provided. Your visit also supports the local community development association, contributing to schools, nutrition centers, infrastructure, and social projects. Overnight in Arenal.
